bi-Cube® wins the Security Award
For the first time, in April 2007, the IT security award was announced by
the IT publisher and the IT security magazine. A competent jury chose of 50
contenders, on November 2007 the respective winners of the categories:
Security Management, Web/Internet Security, Identity- and Access Management
(IAM), as well as a winner for the special price of the yearly innovation.
“Atos Origin GmbH” took home the trophy for the category “Identity & Access
Management“, for their Identity & Provisioning Management "
bi-Cube®
IPM”, developed by iSM.
Since almost 4 years, “Atos Origin GmbH” administers with their Identity &
Provisioning Management system approximately 7,500 users of “E-Plus
Mobilfunk GmbH & Co. KG”, at 14 German wide locations. In this consolidated
territory of authorizations, a Single Sign-On (SSO)-solution should be
implemented as the next step. With the enhancement of the
bi- Cube® IPM
system of iSM, a speedy and 100 % compatible solution was created. Purpose
of this implementation, was the expansion of security and user comfort as
well as the reduction of the User Help Desk complexity.
Because the user’s job of every working day was simplified, a great
acceptance of “E-Plus” employees occurred. Requirements were met, and the
administration effects were quickly achieved by this project.
