Allianz Insurances in Spain:
iSM implements a SSO solution in combination with biometrics successfully.

Again the iSM wins a strategic customer for the product bi-Cube^® SSO (Single Sign-On). The Spanish insurance company Allianz has implemented the iSM-tool successfully. Thereby the developer team of the iSM rised to new challenges and requirements and proved itself again as a flexible and competent partner.

The realisation of the project is supported by the European partner Sopra Group Spain. The co-operation with the Spanish IT consulter, specialist for systems integration and application outsourcing leads to synergetic effects mainly in the range of biometrics.

The Allianz in Spain with 2,500 workstations introduces the bi-Cube^® SSO (Single Sign-On) for the whole company. Because of the high number of password-protected applications a Single Sign-On solution was necessary in order to optimise the work processes. The password change was and is done via the intranet of the Allianz. An already existing system synchronises the passwords for every individual company application. The requirement on the part of the Allianz was to weave this application and its functions into the SSO system.

The iSM has developed an interface specially for this requirement, which transfers the profile data in the database of the Single Sign-On. From now on the Allianz employees can open every Windows, web- or special application by the SSO. The target of the implementation was also the completely protection of the login process via biometrics.
